Music and Meditation

Come and listen to some reflective music and enjoy the peace and quiet of our ancient church. We sit for about 30 minutes and meditate or reflect on a poem or picture. A slide is projected onto the wall to help with the meditation. We hope to restart coffee and biscuits afterwards soon! .

Mindfulness Meditation

Our small and friendly meditation group, welcomes new members. We practice mindfulness meditation together on selected Tuesdays. Our evening together usually consists of a guided meditation, a reading about mindfulness or meditation, a time of quietness and sometimes some sharing. We start at 7.00pm, and each session lasts for about 40 minutes. Payment by donation.

Held at The Sussex Shala in Wilmington , this small, intimate group experience is limited to 10 participants, ensuring a supportive and personalized space for all. You’ll be guided through a tranquil journey incorporating a carefully chosen selection of crystals, Reiki energy, and collective intention. No prior experience is needed, just bring yourself and an open heart. A space to reconnect, recharge, and find harmony within. The Shala can be cool in the evenings, cosy layers and an extra blanket are warmly recommended. Advance booking is essential.
