BOOK TICKETS FOR THE PADDINGTON TRIO ‘To an Old Friend’ Our newest Festival Associate Artists, the Paddington Trio, make their third visit to the Festival, after stunning previous performances at our 2024 Chamber Festival and 2025 Summer Festival. ‘Music can take you anywhere when played like this’ The Guardian Much like the famous bear, Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty, and American pianist Stephanie Tang first came together at Paddington Station and made London their home. From the start they achieved a meteoric rise, emerging as First Prize recipients of two prestigious London chamber music competitions: the 70th Royal Over-Seas League Competition and the Parkhouse Award at Wigmore Hall. Their programme To an Old Friend features works that have been ‘dedicated’ to friends and artists, by Pärt and Shostakovich, together with a new commission from locally-born composer, Mark Boden, and culminates in Tchaikovsky’s great Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 50 written in memory ‘of a great artist, Nikolai Rubinstein’. Tickets are available per concert, as an evening season pass (including 4 evening concerts) or for the full weekend (including all 8 concerts) . BOOK TICKETS FOR CHAMELEON QUARTET Chameleon Quartet are a prize-winning, versatile woodwind ensemble with a mission to share music with audiences far and wide. Their performances feature an impressive array of up to 13 woodwind instruments split between only four members, with the Quartet seamlessly transitioning between them to showcase the diversity of the woodwind family. Chameleon are winners of the Royal Philharmonic Society Henderson Award, 2023, and are Live Music Now artists specialising in SEND and primary school engagement. They were recipients of the RPS Enterprise Fund for ‘Virtually Live’ in 2021, a concert series driven by a passion for connecting with their audience through conversation and interaction. Their performing and engagement projects work in tandem, with a firm belief that every piece of music can be understood and enjoyed by anyone. Their Chamber Weekend programme will feature music by Saint–Saëns, Dvorak, Amy Beach and J.S. Bach. Tickets are available per concert or for the full weekend (including all 8 concerts) . This year marks 60 years of Tamworth Musical Theatre Company, and we'd love you to celebrate this incredible milestone with us. Our story began in February 1946, when the Tamworth Arts and Science Club was founded to promote and encourage the enjoyment of the arts and sciences. The club brought together a variety of specialist groups, including literature, art, music, history, science, and drama. From 1967 to 2017, we proudly performed as Tamworth Arts Club, before becoming Tamworth Musical Theatre Company in 2017. To celebrate our Diamond Anniversary, we're taking a journey through six decades of unforgettable musical theatre. Across three spectacular performances, we'll revisit cherished memories from productions throughout our history, brought to life by our live band, talented adult company, and incredible youth performers.
