Whether you want to shop online, manage your banking securely, or join a Zoom call with family and friends, our Digital Skills Support sessions will help you build the knowledge you need. You’ll learn the basics of using a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. All appointments are in a friendly and relaxed environment. We cover practical topics such as: – Online shopping and safe payment methods – Online banking and managing accounts securely – Using Zoom to stay in touch with loved ones and join virtual meetings – Tips for staying safe online and spotting scams These one-to-one appointments are tailored to your needs. You can go at your own pace and focus on what matters most to you. Whether you’re completely new to technology or want to improve existing skills, we’ll guide you step-by-step. Sessions take place every Friday morning* Except Bank Holidays at: The Carers’ Support Service 1 Town Hall Square, Grimsby, DN31 1HY Each appointment lasts one hour and is designed to give you practical skills you can use straight away. As part of our wider support for unpaid carers in North and North East Lincolnshire , we can also provide free, confidential help and advice for your caring role. From benefits guidance and peer support groups to emotional wellbeing resources and training, our team is here to help you look after yourself while you care for someone else.

Fire Safety Awareness Training – Level 1

Over a half day period, Learners will learn basic fire safety principles, including: causes of fires in the workplace, basic fire safety duties and responsibilities, principles of fire risk control, safe use of portable fire-fighting equipment and more. This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their fire safety awareness to help ensure that they are keeping themselves and others safe at all times in the workplace. The Lighthouse Project

The Lighthouse Project creates a space where all are welcome to find food, friendship, and help in time of need. On Wednesdays we run in conjunction with Open Lite House offering drinks, refreshments, games and craft in the main Church. On Fridays, our drop in provides all of this and usually a hot lunch too. We can provide food parcels and household items, and help people find the help they need from other organisations.
