$10 cover at the door Ventura County’s hottest jazz night!  Hosted By Tyler Hammond (drums) with the hottest rotating house band around, often featuring Karl Hunter (saxophone), Guil Juliao (bass), and friends. You are guaranteed to find SOMETHING during this night that will butter your biscuit.  It’s the best variety night this side of the Conejo Grade. 21+ Doors and signup at 6:30 pm Jazz Jam Guidelines: 1. The focus of this jam is to play Jazz music. It is NOT live band Karaoke. 2. Be prepared/ Know the tune/Know what key you’d like to play the tune in. 3. Bring charts for the band if you’re going out of standard Jazz repertoire. 4. After the melody is finished,  allow room for everyone to solo. 5. Please don’t come onto the stage unless you are called up. 6. Be kind and supportive to other performers. 7. After 9pm, there’s no guarantee you’ll get a turn. 8. Whatever Tyler says, goes.

$15 Advanced/$20 Door GET TICKETS HERE TD Lind & The Aviators is an indie rock band out of Southern California driven by old-soul storytelling, brawny vocals, and larger-than-life sound. Born in England, TD Lind signed a record deal at 19 years old and has since toured America and Europe for the last 30 years, sharing the stage with Sting, Bad Company, Wilco and many others. He has 4 critically-acclaimed albums, the last being produced by legendary producer Glyn Johns. In 2022, TD Lind joined up with producer and bassist David Franz (Iyeoka, Underground Sun), saxophonist Karl Hunter (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy), drummer Greg Weiser (Danny McGaw), and guitarist Sam Kulchin (The Caverns). They are known for their unforgettable live shows, as featured on their “Into the Light” album, recorded and released in 2023. Their debut studio album “Golden” was released on August 21, 2024.

$35 Advanced/$40 Door GET YOUR TICKETS HERE We couldn’t get enough of the Jive Aces when they were in California last year, so we invited them back for another swinging good time at The Grape!! Renowned worldwide for their high-energy spectacular showmanship, their viral video “Bring Me Sunshine” and for being the first live band to reach the final rounds of “Britain’s Got Talent”, The Jive Aces have firmly established themselves the UK’s No.1 Jive & Swing band. The live show includes classics like “When You’re Smiling”, “Mack The Knife” and “Sing, Sing, Sing”, plus originals such as “La Dolce Vita” taken from their various albums. The in-demand sextet average 300 shows a year and have worked with Van Morrison, Keely Smith and performed for HM the Queen. They headlined and sold-out the Royal Albert Hall and thousands of festivals, theatres, dance halls, etc, in 35 countries, including Buckingham Palace for the Coronation Festival, Trafalgar Square for the Olympics and major theatre tours in the USA. Their performance at the 2015 Glastonbury Festival was listed by the “Daily Telegraph” as one of the festival’s highlights. The Jive Aces wowed the judges on Britain’s Got Talent with their show-stopping version of “I Wanna Be Like You”, which famously cheered up a grumpy Simon Cowell.

$15 Advanced/$20 Door GET YOUR TICKETS HERE The smooth world jazz group Native Vibe consists of bassist Nee Sackey and guitarist Bill Macpherson, a duo brought together by a series of unusual coincidences and a love of African and jazz music. Both Sackey and Macpherson were born in the U.S. — Sackey in New York, Macpherson in Los Angeles — and moved to Africa with their families at a young age. The son of Ghana’s ambassador to the United States, Sackey was a child prodigy, composing and performing arrived in Africa at age eight, and though he didn’t pursue music until he was an adult, growing up surrounded by African music and rhythms planted the seeds of his love of music and his future career. Current line up: George Friedenthal, Phil Rodriguez, Rafael Langa, Ed Smith, Karl Hunter, Randy Tico, Bill Macpherson.
