Soul Motown Live Music Night

Soul Motown’s Lou performs some of the best Soul and Motown music and gets everyone on their feet. He brings the voice, the music, and the party, performing great tracks from legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie, and CeeLo Green. Lou has worked alongside top names including Boy George, Alexander O’Neal, Edwin Starr, Martha Reeves, Gino Washington, Bitty McLean, and Peter Andre. Television appearances include BBC One’s “Get Your Act Together.” He also toured in the summer of 2004 with Chicane as lead vocalist. Tickets £10 per person for entry. Movie & Musicals Live Music Night

Movie & Musicals Live Music Night performed by James Stead and Zoë Mayall. James has been a professional musician and singer for over 25 years, also arranging, composing and producing music. James can usually be found touring the UK, Europe and beyond with ‘Not The Rolling Stones’ and ‘The Rolling Stones Story’. Selected Credits: Musical Director – Debra Stephenson (live tours and shows), Swing Unlimited Big Band. Musician/Arranger – Matt Goss, GMTV (ITV1), ‘Chris & Pui Roadshow’ (BBC), Goodwood Revival, ‘Godspell’ (UK Tour), Hotel Grand President (Sorrento, Italy), Captain’s Club Hotel (Christchurch). Zoë is a singer, dancer and actor from the South Coast, trained locally from the age of 3 to 19, before professionally training in London. She attended Laine Theatre Arts, followed by Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts from which she graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre Performace. She has performed in venues across the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall. She is also passionate about promoting the performance skills and confidence of young people, as part of the team in running a Youth Theatre Company in Bournemouth. Credits in training: Zoe Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen, Clare (& Dance Captain) in Made in Dagenham, Ensemble (& Chorus Captain) in Les Misérables, The Emcee in Cabaret, Adella in The Little Mermaid. We Are Robot Live Music Night

This is a local band and always a sell-out that gets every age up and dancing for the best night out this year come on down to Highcliffe. WE ARE ROBOT are an indie pop-rock band. In 2014 the band was formed and is made up of 3 college friends and a rock bassist from the 1970s (maybe not that far back, but this man has been on records when that’s what they were, records)The songwriting is mainly undertaken by the two guitarists, Chris Ralph and Paul Denson, both share lead vocals. Think Lennon and Mccartney. The very talented Mr Sam Kay joins them on drums to add the beats to the tracks, and can also play guitar and bass too! Vijay Amarnani is the very well-established bassist mentioned above and adds the much-needed catchy bass tones. In 2015, they released their first album and although it has no professional studio or record label backing, and was recorded on some cheese and an old microphone. It has been well received and is getting a lot of local radio play. 2017 saw the release of their second ‘studio, not a studio’ recorded album. Learning a little from the first one, we removed some cheese from the recording process and the results hopefully speak for themselves. Tickets £10 per person for entry. Phil Lowen is one of the top Tom Jones tribute artists in the country. He starred in TV’s “Who do you do” where he was regularly seen doing impressions of other pop stars, but it was his impression of Tom Jones that got rave reviews that encouraged him to perform his own Tribute to Sir Tom Jones Show, an act which has seen him appear all over the UK and abroad for both corporate and private functions for over 30 years. Covering the great songs of Sir Tom: It’s Not Unusual, Kiss, Delilah, What’s New Pussycat, and I’ll Never Fall In Love Again, to name but a few, Phil’s distinctive ‘baritone’ voice, impressive vocal range and accurate portrayal of this big star, has helped Phil build a reputation as one of the best tribute acts in the UK.
