We Farm. We Butcher. We Cook. You Enjoy. Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe is a family run business situated on the border of The Cotswolds, nestled at the base of Meon Hill near Stratford Upon Avon. On Saturday 6th June 2026 we are inviting you to come and explore our FREE farm trail, exploring idyllic countryside and getting a glimpse of our beef cattle and sheep. Our aim is to sell the highest quality British produce, sourced either directly from our own farm or other local farmers where possible. We believe in supporting the British economy and the local farming community, so you’ll find that 95% of the produce available in our store is British. Our animals are naturally fed and traditionally farmed to the highest standards of care and respect, giving you the ultimate traceability from pasture to plate. We opened the shop to supplement our farming income back in November 2004 and earlier this year we were named the 'UK's Best Small Farm Shop' at the Farm Retail Association awards. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our customers’ experience, so please forward any ideas you may have when you arrive on the day! We opened our Farmhouse Kitchen Café in March 2017, where you can enjoy a Farmer's Breakfast with sausages and bacon made and cured by our butchers and eggs from our free-range hens. We also have monthly special which showcase the very best of our home reared and locally sourced foods. All the food in the café is prepared fresh on-site, we offer a range of breakfasts available until 12.00pm, light lunches, cream teas and more. Join us on 'Open Farm Saturday' for a fun day on the farm and discover the very best quality, locally produced produce. We can't wait to see you! *Please note we are celebrating Open Farm Sunday with our FREE TRAIL on Saturday 6th June and are not open on Sunday 7th June* About this farm: We traditionally farm beef, lamb and turkey as well as a small number of arable crops which are mainly used to feed and bed the stock. In March 2026 we were voted as the 'UK's Best Small Farm Shop' by the Farm Retail Assocaition. We also have an on site cafe which showcases the best of our home reared and locally sourced produce.
