Worship from the peapod

This time of worship flows from the 24hrs of prayer in the sanctuary, gathered around the 5 peas in a peapod of prayer for CBC & Radiate, and is an open shared act of worship for the church, for Radiate and the partner churches - all welcome. It will be led by our worship team in collaboration with Radiate. Across the previous 24hrs we are taking time to pray – there is much that both exciting and challenging at the moment in our life as a church and we want to take time to pause and to bring all this to the Lord and seek his paths through it all, in wisdom, grace and love. We are working this alongside our partnership youthwork in Radiate who are setting out a three year approach centred around three peas in a pod – plan, people & place! To these we are adding our own, of project and pastoral prayer. Across these 24hrs there will be prayer areas around our sanctuary which will give space and resources for prayer into these 5 'peas'. The prayers for the project centre around our regen100 'rehobothy project' which begins later this summer with some preparatory work to the entrance area. We are submitting for building warrant in late June. We began the journey with this project through prayer and seeking in May/June 2024 and at this critical time, as we look towards the challenges of funding and the building work involved we take up specific prayer again here together.
