In My Liverpool Home at Christmas comes to the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room on Saturday 5th December with two performances – a 3pm matinee and an 8pm evening show. Following a run of sold-out shows across the series, this new festive edition draws on the warmth, humour and community spirit of The Spinners’ much-loved Christmas concerts, blending Liverpool songs, folk favourites and seasonal classics into a joyful winter gathering. Danny Jones, Emma Scarr, Paul Cook and ‘Count’ John McCormick bring the city’s musical heritage to life with heart, harmony and good humour. Their easy camaraderie and rich musicianship shape a programme that moves from rousing choruses to tender ballads, from nautical tales to festive singalongs. This time round they’re joined by a supporting ensemble which includes members of the Singing Our Socks Off community choir. Audiences can expect stories old and new, moments of reflection, plenty of laughter and that unmistakable Liverpool spirit. The show honours the legacy of The Spinners while offering a fresh, contemporary take on the songs and traditions that have shaped generations. With every previous In My Liverpool Home performance selling out — and these two Christmas shows certain to follow — early booking is strongly advised. My Darling Clementine: Together Apart @ Music Room

My Darling Clementine (Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish) close out the year with a special show on Thursday 10th December, returning to the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room with their signature blend of classic country duets, richly drawn storytelling, and beautifully observed songs of love, loss and longing. Following their acclaimed previous appearances, this new date offers something different. They will play 2 one hour sets: The first a deep dive into the back catalogue, featuring My Darling Clementine classics, fan favourites, and some lesser heard album cuts. The second set will shine a spotlight on their individual voices. With both releasing solo albums this year, Lou and Michael will present a number of these new songs, accompanied by a full band. Michael’s album Nothing Can Hurt Me Anymore, released in April, has received universal praise and is being widely regarded as his finest ever work. Lou’s album will be released in the Autumn and this show affords fans the chance to hear some of her new songs for the very first time. Both these solo albums have been born out of personal tragedy and grief, and as a way to process an unimaginable loss. Their ability to move seamlessly from heartbreak to hope, from sharp storytelling to lush harmony, makes every performance feel like a conversation set to music. The unmistakable chemistry between King & Dalgleish has made My Darling Clementine one of the most compelling duos on the Americana scene.
