Meet The Deans

Meet the Deans Returns to Liverpool – Epstein Theatre, 29th & 30th October 2026 The much-loved Liverpool family comedy Meet the Deans is back this October at the Epstein Theatre, promising laughter, chaos, and heartfelt family moments. Written over 20 years ago while the playwright waited in Newcastle Hospital during her sister-in-laws heart transplant, the play draws on real-life family experiences to deliver humour, warmth, and emotional depth. The story follows a hard-working mother whose five grown-up children all move back home, bringing baggage, secrets, and conflict— until one revelation changes everything. Meet the Deans has previously delighted audiences in Liverpool in 2009, 2010 and 2012, earning standing ovations and glowing praise. Rock legend John Parr (Grammy nominated, Academy Award nominee for Road to Damascus) called it: “The main speech ripped the heart out of the room and even sitting on the back row those words and delivery hit home and rang so true.” Sky 1 & ITV writer Maria Ward added: “Natural, clever dialogue which makes you laugh out loud one moment and then quietly nod in recognition the next. It has moments that catch in your throat and kinds you remember long after the curtain falls.” This special revival returns Meet the Deans to the city where it first won hearts celebrating family, humour, and love under one roof. Performance Dates: 29th& 30th October 2026 Tickets: £29.50

Under The Mersey Moon

Destiny called him away, but, but his heart would always belong…UNDER THE MERSEY MOON. Inspired by his beloved grandfather, Danny Rogers, a struggling country musician from Liverpool, embarks on a make-or-break pilgrimage to Nashville, hoping to be discovered. Will he fulfil his dream, or will it prove a very different journey of discovery? ‘Under The Mersey Moon’, an inspiring new musical play, tells the heartwarming story of one man’s determination to follow his dream and the enduring power of love, home and family.
