Across a three-decade career marked by frequent line-up changes, including members such as Dan Black (The Servant/Planet Funk) and Dean Bright (Dead Or Alive), the band has maintained a strong presence on the European alternative circuit, appearing at festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treﬀen, M’era Luna, Amphi, Infest, and Whitby Goth Weekend, alongside extensive touring throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Diﬃcult to categorise stylistically, Massive Ego combine confrontational lyricism with a striking visual identity, epitomised by vocalist Marc Massive’s performative aesthetic, earning them adevoted underground following. Releases such as Noise In The Machine (2014) and the albums Beautiful Suicide and Church for the Malfunctioned signalled a shift toward a darker and more abrasive sonic palette. In 2024, guitarist Porl Young (Rosetta Stone) joined the long-standing core line-up.Throughout 2025, Massive Ego unveiled four singles from their forthcoming new album.
