Write Time, Write Place: a Ten Week Creative Writing Course

Book now for this fantastic ten week creative writing course which runs from 22 April to 24 June (every Wednesday) This ten-week course with Chris Woodhouse is an opportunity for those who enjoy creative writing to have fun sharing work, ideas and motivation. It is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience of writing who would welcome guidance, encouragement and feedback. Chris has created and taught many courses and workshops in the subject for over thirty years. Sessions will include sharing work, discussion, writing exercises and suggested topics and will be supported with some taught elements and printed handouts, designed to extend skills and knowledge. Whether you are a short story writer, a poet, a teller of anecdotes, want to write your memoirs or novels or just want to explore different forms of creative writing you will be made very welcome. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. £120 per person to attend all ten classes.

In 1997 Gary & Darren from Jive Talkin performed LIVE on HEART FM with THE BEE GEES and received great compliments from both Maurice and Barry Gibb…… As with the original Bee Gees, Jive Talkin is very much a family affair, with brothers Gary and Darren Simmons taking the roles of Barry and Maurice Gibb, with Darren’s son Jack joining the group in 2014 and taking on the role of Robin Gibb. The guys are supported musically by a four piece band with Lead Guitar, Violin, Cello and Drums, to ensure that every note in every song is just right! It’ll take brains, bravery and curly-tails to build bridges and forge friendships with each other and those they meet along the way. Get those trotters tapping and those snouts a-squealin’ with new catchy songs, dancing and plenty of audience participation for piglets of all ages.
