Good Question! Getting to Grips with God and Life - 'Don't all Religions lead to God?'

Good Question! - Getting to Grips with God and Life.  Have you started thinking about whether there is a God, and whether God is knowable? And was Jesus just a good moral teacher, or more? Can I find purpose in life, or is it ultimately meaningless? And can we reconcile the loving God of Christianity with a suffering world? We're running these sessions to grapple with these and other thorny questions. The sessions are for curious people of some faith and none, in the context of a presentation and small group discussion. We'll start at 7:30pm in Trinity House, and end by 9.15pm. Refreshments will be provided. This week (Thursday 9th July) we will look at - 'Don't all Religions lead to God?' Good Question! - Getting to Grips with God and Life.  Have you started thinking about whether there is a God, and whether God is knowable? And was Jesus just a good moral teacher, or more? Our morning celebration begins with all ages together, followed by kids and young people heading to their own groups while adults stay in church for teaching and ministry. We meet every other Sunday 4pm-5:30pm at Trinity House This group is for girls in years 3-6 In TK girls we explore the Bible in a fun and safe space, where questions are encouraged. We will look at things like our identity in Christ, friendships, prayer and so much more. We love to see friendships grow between the girls and see how God moves among them. The Living Room is an open cafe style space to meet others, enjoy lunch together or simply a hot drink and cake. We are open from 12.30 pm to 2.30pm. From 2.30pm to 3pm there will be an opportunity to join in with gentle exercise for older adults or those with long term health conditions (£1 per person).

Spear Celebration

You are Invited! ... we love having a room full of people to champion these fantastic young people as they complete the Spear Programme. So please do come along, bring a friend, use it as a Life Group evening out etc.! During the evening each young person shares the inspiring ways they have overcome challenges in their life and the hope they have for the future. Each young person has at least one barrier (criminal record, lived in care, mental health, no qualifications etc.) and this is a huge step out of their comfort zone so is always super impactful!
