Element

Element Beginning on Thursday 16th April for 9 weeks 7-9.30pm Element is a nine-week series designed for anyone who has recently come to faith or done the Alpha Course and wants to go deeper in their relationship with God and grow in their Christian faith. We spend the nine evenings exploring questions (for example, "How can I hear God's voice?", "How can I grow in trusting him?", "What gifts has the Holy Spirit given, and how do I develop them?") and having shared a meal together. There will also be one Saturday session as part of the course (date TBC). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We will start at 7pm in Trinity House ground floor for a meal & community time together before heading upstairs to start the session around 7.40pm. (Even if you prefer not to eat the meal at 7pm, please aim to arrive as soon as possible after 7pm in order to share social time with others.) Freedom in Christ

Freedom in Christ is the equivalent of an annual spiritual MOT and it is a 9 week course designed to help every Christian take hold of the truth of our identity in Christ, resolve any personal and spiritual issues that may be holding us back, and become a fruitful, effective disciple of Jesus. At the end of the course we have the Steps to Freedom day on Saturday 13th June which is an amazing day where we draw it all together! Please keep this date free if you can. Some of the areas covered in the course include: — How we became brand new people from the inside out when we became Christians — Why we can go boldly into God's presence any time we like without fear — How nothing we can do can make God love us any more or any less — How to resolve effects of even the deepest issues from the past — How to deal with repeating patterns of sin — Understand what God's purpose for your life is (it may not be what you think!) Join us at 7pm for food or 7:30pm for worship and coffee before the teaching and group discussion. There is a £15 cost to the course to cover the course materials and refreshments, and if you would like food each week, it is £4 per meal. We never want cost to be a barrier to someone joining the course though, so please get in contact if it is something you need help with. Please note: if you are unable to make week one, you are more than welcome to come join from week two.

Good Question! Getting to Grips with God and Life - 'Can we find Meaning in Life without God?'

Good Question! - Getting to Grips with God and Life.  Have you started thinking about whether there is a God, and whether God is knowable? And was Jesus just a good moral teacher, or more? Can I find purpose in life, or is it ultimately meaningless? And can we reconcile the loving God of Christianity with a suffering world? We're running these sessions to grapple with these and other thorny questions. The sessions are for curious people of some faith and none, in the context of a presentation and small group discussion. We'll start at 7:30pm in Trinity House, and end by 9.15pm. Refreshments will be provided. This week (Thursday 11th June) we will look at - 'Can we find Meaning in Life without God?' Restored Lives

Are you, or someone you know struggling after a breakup? Although you may feel isolated, you are not alone. Come on this course to meet people in a similar situation and listen to advice and hear stories from people who have successfully moved on. The Restored Lives Course has helped thousands of people over 20 years and has been developed by divorcees and professionals at Holy Trinity Brompton Church. Restored Lives' runs over two separate days. It supports and empowers people to move forward from divorce and separation, or the breakdown of any serious relationship, to live a full life, free from past issues. Whatever your situation, background or belief, it gives you emotional and practical support to recover from relationship breakdown in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Saturday 13th and Saturday 27th June 2026 Time : 8:45 am - 4:15 pm  Cost: £30 per person (This includes a continental breakfast, soup & ploughman's lunch, and tea & cake). Steps to Freedom in Christ

Freedom in Christ Steps day.  Saturday 13th June, 10am – 4.30pm, Trinity House  This day is central and key to the course.  Ephesians 5:13 says.  'Everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.' It is a kind and gentle process of gaining freedom from your personal and spiritual conflicts. You are in control and the outcome is in your hands. It is not a group work day, and there is no requirement to confess anything to anyone. If you deal with everything the Holy Spirit shows you, at the end of the process you will be free in Christ. The steps don't set you free – Jesus does!  We as a team are confident it will be a day of hope healing freedom and light, and we are praying for you all by name.  During lunch break and after the day is finished there will be people available if you feel you need any deeper prayer. Drinks and refreshments will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch. Timetable: 10am - Arrive 10:10-10:30am - Welcome  & Worship  10:30-11:45am - Session 1 11:45am -12pm - Drinks Break�� 12-1pm - Session 2   1-1:45pm - Lunch break  1:45-2pm - Worship  2-3pm - Session 3  3 - 3:10pm - Drinks break  3:10 - 4pm - Session 4  4pm - Roundup / Close with prayer  (Prayer ministry / Quiet space available until 4:30pm)  Please bring a notebook, pen and Bible with you.
