You will learn the fundamentals of this ancient craft and create your own glass objects using hot, molten glass straight from the furnace. You will learn how to 'gather' and form a glass sphere (bauble), a paperweight and a vase. Class sizes are small so that you can have plenty of 'hands-on' time, usually four students or less per tutor. One day glassblowing is an ideal opportunity to try something you have always wanted to do, or perhaps never thought of before. Taster sessions (also known as Half-Day Glassblowing) are run in the or the afternoon at 2pm and last approximately two and a half hours. Two objects are made and depending on the day the objects will include a blown bauble and a paperweight.

The name FOUND centres around the stories in Luke 15. We believe God is a good father who is searching out those that are lost, in pain and dissatisfied with life, driven by extravagant love. WE ARE THE FOUND. Youth that have been discovered by God and are seeking to help others find home. Each Friday night we gather as 'Found' unless specified. As part of our rhythm of prayer, every Saturday from 8.30am - 9am, we are praying for the persecuted church. The writer to the Hebrews tells us to remember those in prison as if we were their fellow prisoners and those who are ill treated as if we were suffering ourselves and Paul tells the Thessalonians to be joyful always and pray continually SO we will pray joyfully for those in the family of God who are suffering and struggling the most around the world.
