Art Club: Summer Fun at the Museum

Join us for some creative crafts during the school holidays. Then, turn right then quickly left past the Toilets, into the Wild City Gallery. Once you walk through the double doors and pass into the Pre-Raphaelite Galleries, The Studio is on the left. Join us at Blakesley Hall for our exciting Busy Bee Garden Trail! Teddy Bear Zip Wire

Join in the fun at Blakesley Hall! Have your teddy bear zip wire from the top of Blakesley Hall down to the gardens.Get a certificate to mark their achievement, follow our garden trail and meet the teddy bear nurse.Why not make a day of it and bring a picnic too? We have plenty of indoor and outdoor furniture for enjoying picnics.The event is from 11.30am-3.30pm. Ticket holders can arrive at anytime within that time period. All children taking part in the event need to have a ticket. Accompanying adults do not require a ticket.The Hall will be open from 11.00am-4.00pm and usual admission charges apply.Birmingham Museums Trust is a registered charity and money raised through events help us care for beautiful buildings like Blakesley Hall.

Have a go at making your own piece of jewellery with the help of our friendly learning team in this special children’s jewellery workshop activity.Design and create either a bracelet or pendant, learn and use real jewellers’ techniques like texturing metal, hammering, stamping and enamelling to make something unique and personal to take home with you.Pre-booking is essential as places are limited.Recommended for ages 8 and up.
