Wild Swimming

Dive into a unique outdoor adventure and swim our incredible 23,000sqm surf lagoon. Join us every Friday evening throughout July for a refreshing start to your weekend. Fully lifeguarded, these 45-minute sessions are the perfect way to unwind and embrace the outdoors. Want to make a night of it? Combine your swim with a relaxing sauna session (open until 9.15pm) or a delicious dinner at Lost Kitchen. Sauna sessions can be purchased separately here. Session Details & Requirements When: Every Friday in July at 8:00 PM (45-minute sessions). About the pool: Pool depth varies from ~0.5 m to 2.5 m and features a gentle, sloping shoreline. Age Restrictions: Ages 4 and up. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Swimming Ability: All participants must be able to swim confidently and unaided. Equipment: Bring your own swimsuit or wetsuit. Wetsuits are available to hire on-site for £8. Please note: If you are not wearing a wetsuit, a tow float is mandatory. On-Site Facilities: Enjoy free parking, heated indoor changing rooms, hot showers, a spa studio, sauna, and our café bar and restaurant.

Catch the Wave - FREE Surf

Scottish Surfing’s ‘Catch the Wave’ programme is part of SportScotland’s ‘Summer of Sport’ Scottish Surfing are offering a FREE beginner surf lesson + lunch to primary and secondary school children (over 7yrs old) at Lost Shore Surf Resort. All spaces are first come first served but a further FREE beginner surf lesson + lunch will be taking place on the 2nd of August – so anyone signed up for the 26th of July who misses out will be offered a space on the 2nd of August. Longboard Workshop

Our longboarding workshop is an introduction to traditional longboard surfing. We’ll start with a practical theory session covering what makes riding 9ft+ boards unique, focusing on the purpose and functionality of cross-stepping and noseriding. After breaking down the techniques, we’ll hit the water and put it all into practice. Suitable for: This session is ideal for longboarders eager to build their foundation, as well as anyone comfortable on a shortboard, midlength, or foamy who wants to try longboarding. Wave height: Waist high, on our Cruiser Plus wave setting Surfboard: Bring your own board, rent from our shop (limited availability), or use our 9ft foamies Itinerary: 16:45: Meet in our High Performance room for a forty-five-minute classroom session on Longboarding theory. 17:30: collect equipment and change into wetsuits 17:45: reconvene at the poolside for practical technique practice 18:00: in water session 19:00: Conclude the workshop at the poolside *Please note this is a ticket specifically for this event and cannot be used against any other surf lesson, session or event.
