Christianity Explored (Elmswell CG)

Christianity Explored is a seven-week course that works through the Gospel of Mark, exploring what Christianity is all about and what it means to be a Christian. The course is for anyone, whether you're completely new to Christianity, have questions you'd like to explore, or have been coming to church for a while. No prior knowledge is needed. Each evening will consist of watching two videos and then chatting about key areas of the Christian faith. We'll be running the course on Tuesday evenings, led by a small team from BRBC. Sessions will take place in homes in the Elmswell / Stowmarket area, providing a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can ask questions and explore freely. LIFT Community Group

This week the group will meet at Danielle Brown's house in Onehouse. Our desire is for the next generation of women to be well discipled and to have a space to develop relationships with each other and older women in our church family. So this is a community group called 'Living in Faith Together' for young women in school year 11 and above. GYM (Growing Young Men)

We're excited to host 'Growing Young Men', a Bible study group for boys in school years 9–13! We'll be meeting regularly on the second Thursday of each month. Ladies' Bible Study

We gather from 9.15am, and our study and prayer time runs from 9.30am to study God's Word, pray and enjoy fellowship and coffee and cake together. There are usually between 10 and 20 ladies from a range of backgrounds and life stages, plus always some babies and children. All ladies are welcome to come along whether you've been before or not. Explore

The Explore Group is for children in Reception to Year 4 and meets on a Friday evening between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. This is an active and high energy group of youngsters that need constantly to be kept occupied. The programmes of crafts, games and Bible stories are organised each week and offer a structured and unique evening of fun and learning for the children. All the activities are managed carefully with a dedicated leadership team to ensure safety and consideration for others at all times. The Explore programme runs during the school term.

The Lounge

The Lounge @BRBC is for young people in Year 9 upwards and meets on a Friday evening from 8.00pm onwards in the chapel lounge. This is an open youth club, and a regular meeting place for friends, both from the village and from school and college. The programme of activities is varied; the Summer means light evenings and so most of the activities are held outside with games on the grass at the rear of the church building, or events offsite. Examples of favourites would be camp fire cooking and car treasure hunts! The winter months mainly centre on the lounge with favourite activities being quiz, food evenings and movie nights.
