What's on in Broom Hill

Suffolk, England

Coffee mornings that serve actual decent coffee. Quiz nights that get genuinely competitive (yes, even question 7). Markets where you'll find something better than the supermarket. Broom Hill doesn't do things by halves — check what's on this week and see for yourself. We're talking book clubs that actually finish the book, bingo nights that get surprisingly rowdy, film screenings in village halls with seats older than your grandad. The sort of events where half the entertainment is seeing who else shows up. No pretence, no airs and graces, just good local stuff happening near you.

NT Live Premier 'All My Sons'

Experience the five-star, triumphantly acclaimed production of Arthur Miller’s classic play, All My Sons, at The Freston Boot boutique cinema. This Premier performance takes place on Thursday 16th live from the West End, this production features Academy Award-nominee Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths). Directed by the visionary Ivo van Hove, it is a disturbingly prescient take on the American dream. One family sits at the heart of the story. When wartime delivers profits for Joe Keller, it comes at a price. His partner is charged with criminal manufacturing deals, while his eldest son goes missing in action. Will peacetime finally bring peace of mind, or will Joe be confronted by the consequences of his actions? In addition to the leads, this production features an incredible ensemble including Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You), Tom Glynn-Carney (House of the Dragon), and Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake). Since this was captured live from the West End, you can experience the raw energy of the performance right here in Suffolk. Run Time 150 minutes (no interval).  BBFC Certificate 12A While you enjoy the performance, our bar remains open for drinks and snacks. Or why not try an experience of dining and theatre – 2 courses plus a screening.  Because our boutique cinema is an intimate 12 seater venue, we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance here.
