EVENTS Spanish Tiles artwork Workshop Wednesday 5th August, 2026. Yoxall Parish Hall (upstairs), King Street, Yoxall, DE13 8NF. 6.30 pm - 8.30pm Using Spanish Tiles as inspiration we will create a decorative design using a limited colour palette, and a small amount of collage beneath watercolour paints. Design inspiration will be provided, but feel free to come along with personalised ideas. Each ‘tile’ design will need decorative corners and borders. Lots of tips, suggestions and help will be given. Then these ‘Spanish tiles’ can be mounted on blank cards ideal for a special occasion (provided). Alternatively, they would make beautiful artwork for a small square frame. (Available for a small extra cost if desired). All materials are provided, no experience necessary, this is a beginner-friendly session. Parking is free at the local village carpark one minute away on Sudbury Road. Oakamoor Vets Invitational

Cheadle Running Club’s annual Veteran’s Cross Country will take place on Wednesday 5th August 2026 at Oakamoor Cricket Club (Davies/Worthington Sports Ground) Mill Road, Oakamoor, S-O-T ST10 3AG Teams will be declared at 6.30pm and the event will start at 7pm. Male and female vets aged 35 and over are invited to run and the cost is £6 per entrant. Male and female vets will run the same four- mile route. Teams will be male and female with four to a team. There will be a prize for the first male and first female team. However, if runners can’t make a team people can still participate. Refreshments will be provided and the club-house bar will be open. We look forward to seeing you all on the night.

Limitless Festival Day Trip

Each year, Elim's youth movement, Limitless, hosts Limitless Festival, where around 6,000 young people camp together for five nights. This year it takes place on 5th - 10th of August. The festival offers a huge range of activities, including sports, inflatables, water fights, and much more. Alongside these activities are daily gatherings featuring live music, worship, guest speakers, and teaching. This will be a full day, with departure from the church at approximately 8:15am and return at around 10:00-10:30pm. Event Overview Location Limitless Festival – Stafford Showground, WESTON ROAD, STAFFORD, ST18 0BD. Dates / Times 8/8/2026 – We will leave the church car park at 8:15am and aim to be back at the church car park for 10:15pm though this depend on traffic. Travel We will drive from the church car park at 8:15am aiming to arrive at the festival for 9:30am. Then we will leave the festival at 9:00pm aiming to arrive at the church car park for 10:15pm. The difference in time is based on there being less people on the road at a later time. You are permitted to take your young person to the event yourself. Financial We are charging £30 which includes the £25 ticket cost plus £5 towards food and petrol.
