What's on in Maxwellheugh

Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale, Scotland

No stadium concerts here, just the good local stuff: markets, meetups, and events where you'll probably bump into someone you know. Classic Maxwellheugh. Quiz nights, coffee mornings, craft fairs, book clubs, film screenings — the sort of calendar that makes somewhere feel properly local. Village halls with heating that works on a good day. Community centres that smell faintly of old carpet and possibility. Pubs hosting quizzes and open mics and talks about things you didn't know existed. We've found it all and put it in one place, because life's too short to check seventeen different websites every week.

Bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, or anything for comfort. Chairs are also available. The session will conclude with time for questions, a demonstration, and hands-on experience with the bowls. ————————————Joan Filla is a physician who was introduced to Tibetan singing bowls while recovering from long standing trauma. Singing bowls and meditation became an integral part of her journey and she hopes to share these powerful tools with others.
