Rainy Day Picks This Weekend in Warborough and Shillingford

10 picks around Warborough and Shillingford, from 8 local venues. The map pin is doing actual work here.

25–26 July Near Warborough and Shillingford

Not every listing gets a golden ticket

We check the usual frankly silly number of local websites, then look for events that feel rainy-day friendly: cinemas, theatres, talks, workshops, galleries, concerts, cosy venues, and anything less likely to involve standing in a muddy field making brave weather noises.

Happening Saturday 25 July to Sunday 26 July.
Picked for Warborough and Shillingford, not somewhere halfway across the county.
Only Local Gems and Curated venues make the cut, because standards are still a thing.
Listings with proper descriptions get bumped up the list. Three words and a shrug will not do.

St Mark's Communion10

St Mark's Communion

at Saint Mark's Hospital Church

Whilst essential maintenance work is undertaken, services are temporarily being held in the nearby Seminar Room 1, also located on the St Mark’s hospital site. Directions to Seminar Room 1 will be on the church door. On the forth Sunday of the month, at 11am we hold a traditional service of Holy Communion, with hymns, prayers, and a short talk, providing a reflective and contemplative space to meet with God, at St Mark’s Church situated within the grounds of the hospital. For more information, please contact the office (details in link below). This event will be Covid-secure with processes in place to look after us all. Recent changes in government guidance mean that the wearing of face masks is now optional. If you want to wear a face mask, we want you to feel completely comfortable in doing so - but it is no longer a requirement. We want to make Sundays as comfortable as possible for everyone.
