Evensong and Benediction Evensong and Benediction offer a peaceful and contemplative close to the day, drawing us into the beauty of evening prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Evensong is the Church’s traditional service of evening worship, sung in the rich language of Scripture and prayer. Evensong and Benediction together unite the beauty of Anglican worship with the deep devotion of Catholic tradition: word and sacrament, praise and presence, rest and renewal in the love of Christ.
