The session in the ancient art of quilling will be led by an experienced tutor. Use strips of paper that will be rolled, looped, curled, twisted and manipulated to produce a beautiful greetings card. Life in Knutsford is captured in a 40 ft tapestry containing 6,500,000 stitches in three panels named Tatton, Canute and Toft. It is a truly amazing piece of art featuring a vast range of very detailed buildings and scenes. One of the original WI supporters of the project will share her insights and details of the work via a video recording. There will be an open discussion and questions and answers, as well as some memorabilia on display. There will be tea/coffee and cake at 2 pm.
