Japanese Botanical Stitching Workshop

This workshop runs in the spring and summer time when there are many flowers and leaves in the garden. Participants draw any flowers and leaves on the sketchbook in the garden and then transfer their drawing into the handwoven organic cotton tea towel. Participants will stitch their design using the course tutor Emi’s natural dyed threads including blue from indigo, pink from English madder and more. If the weather is good the course will take place in our Heritage gardens and then participants can work anywhere in the garden.

Time: Sunday, 19 April 2026 at 09:30Details: Join us as we gather to worship the Lord and learn from God's word in the Bible. / / Whether you would regard yourself as a Christian or as someone who is just wanting to discover a bit more, everyone is welcome to come and gather with our church family, as we meet on Sunday mornings. You are also welcome to stay on after the service for refreshments and a chat. / / For younger members of our church family there are special activities for them: / / For babies and pre-school children we welcome them and their parents/carers to stay in the service and make use of the children's area just off to the side. We are quite used to a bit of squawking and little ones wandering around. / / For children of primary school age we offer JAMES Club & JAMES Club+ during term time services.
