Aida on Sydney Harbour Opera

This summer The Galtres Centre will be showing three operas from the Handra Opera Company of Sydney. The three, Aida, Turandot and La Traviata are staged on a massive floating stage in Sydney Harbour, with the bridge and opera house in the background. The setting for Aida, against the Sydney harbour and the Opera House at sun set, couldn’t be more spectacular for such a sweeping opera with Verdi setting intimate affairs of the heart against the grandeur of the universe. Thinking of visiting Yorkshire Heart Vineyard & Brewery? Then this weekend package based on 2 or more people visiting is just what you are looking for. Acoustic music night on Friday, bar open from 5pm, singer on from 7pm, includes supper. Vineyard tour and tasting followed by lunch on Saturday. PLEASE LET US KNOW ABOUT ANY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS IN THE COMMENTS BOX AT CHECKOUT. When booking, please select 11am or 2pm for the vineyard tour on the Saturday of your visit. 2 night stay on our campsite. Acoustic Music Nights

Our monthly acoustic music nights continue in 2026. Get your friends together and come along to join us at the vineyard for an evening of live acoustic music, great drinks and lovely supper. The last Friday of each month we will be joined a local musician, duo and bands playing and singing live in the Winehouse, or outside in the courtyard in the summer and the weather is kind. We will put out social media post when the acts are confirmed. The bar opens from 6pm, with the artist playing from 7pm, supper served around 8pm with a second set played until around 9:30pm. Tickets are £15 per adult, £7.50 per child including supper. Acts lined up for 2026 so far- 24th April - Adam & Phil 1st May - 29th May - 12th June - Chris Berry 10th July - 31st July - Craig long, Amy & Rob 14th August - 28th August - 11th September - 25th September - Adam & Phil 23rd October - Craig, Amy & Rob
