What's on in Great Easton

Leicestershire, England

No stadium concerts here, just the good local stuff: markets, meetups, and events where you'll probably bump into someone you know. Classic Great Easton. Quiz nights, coffee mornings, craft fairs, book clubs, film screenings — the sort of calendar that makes somewhere feel properly local. Village halls with heating that works on a good day. Community centres that smell faintly of old carpet and possibility. Pubs hosting quizzes and open mics and talks about things you didn't know existed. We've found it all and put it in one place, because life's too short to check seventeen different websites every week.

Thursday Art Class +

Weekly Art Classes + Elevate your practice in a professional, collaborative environment… This isn’t your typical art class. It is a dedicated space for established creators and art students seeking high-level feedback and a structured environment to advance their independent projects. Join us for a relaxed and inspiring two-hour ‘open studio’ session. This is a space for like-minded creatives to come together, work on their own projects, and develop their ideas in a supportive and collaborative environment. Bring along a piece you’re currently working on, a new concept you’d like to explore, or a project you’re developing. Throughout the session, you’ll receive tailored guidance and constructive feedback to help refine your ideas, strengthen your artistic approach, and move your work towards a resolved final piece. Whether you’re looking for fresh perspective, technical advice, or simply the motivation that comes from creating alongside other artists, this session offers time, space, and expert support to help your work progress. What to expect: Tailored Guidance: Individual, constructive feedback to help refine your artistic approach. Studio Environment: A shared creative energy with basic materials and bottomless refreshments provided. Flexible Growth: Open to established artists and current art students looking to bridge the gap between study and practice. The Details Sessions run every Thursday from 1 pm – 3 pm. The investment is £15 per session, or £75 for a block...
