Village Evening at the Cricket Nets

Free use of the cricket nets for all Fownhope residents — no booking required, just turn up. The nets are open to everyone in the hour before the Strollers’ regular training session, with a Club officer on site throughout. After that, you’re welcome to stay on and join the training session itself — a great way to meet the team and have a go. Village Membership is not required for Village Evenings, but if you’d like to book the nets independently at other times, this is the perfect opportunity to complete your free induction. All you need is a bit of hand/eye coordination and a sense of humour when things don’t go the way you expected. Why not come along and find out whether this is your cup of tea?
