Join us for a morning session of Pilates and then perhaps a bit of tea and cake! Community Pilates is a new event happening monthly at the Ballroom here at Northwood House and this will be our second session! Health & Wellbeing is rightly becoming a crucial and ever growing part of everyday society and we feel it is important for the local community to be able to get involved and enjoy the benefits of this. Pilates is a holistic movement practice that uses a mindful approach to exercise. The Pilates technique helps to build functional strength and flexibility while supporting mental wellbeing. We are excited to bring this experience to Northwood House in Cowes, combining it with an environment that naturally welcomes a bit of chat and socialising. A bit of cake and chat after the class is an added bonus we think…. Our Pilates teacher Becci holds a Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates (Practitioner) and is experienced in leading both private sessions group classes across the Isle of Wight. This class offers modifications and progressions for every exercise, making it accessible and informative for newcomers and advanced students alike.
