Walking Group

We will leave St Mary's pm and drive to Fullerton (transport provided if needed). We will walk along the west side of the Anton valley and then down across the river and up the hill on the opposite side of the valley, returning to Fullerton via Wherwell and Cottonworth. The distance is about 4 miles. This is a very enjoyable walk with lovely views in all directions. We will be back at St Mary's about 3.00 pm. Please bring a packed lunch and suitable footwear. For anyone preferring to drive directly to Fullerton, we will start the walk from the triangle (junction of Fullerton Road and Longstock Park Road) at 12.35 pm. There are a few parking spaces on Fullerton Road and Longstock Park Road. Please contact Simon Nash () if you need a lift or driving directions. Explore the Bible

Explore the biblical writings firsthand in conversation and community. No prior experience needed. Families welcome. Whether the Bible contains words you cling to, whether it confuses you, or whether it's brand new for you, we're going to be exploring it together. We'll look at a part of the Bible together, you'll get some guidance on how to make sense of it, and then we'll talk about it with others round tables. Simple as that. Bring your friends, family, or just come as you are and meet people like you who want to explore whether there's more to the Bible than meets the eye. This is accessible to all. Between January and Easter of 2026 we'll be looking at the backbone of Jesus' message and the new life Jesus invites people into, as laid out in the Gospel of Matthew. The passages we look at will be read out and bibles are available at the session. If you need help getting a Bible, speak to a team member at Explore the Bible and we'll get it sorted. Please feel free to bring a packed tea for little ones.

The Gathering

The Gathering is an informal weekly time of worship, prayer and looking at God's word. We meet in St Mary's Church Centre on Sunday evenings from 6.30 to 7.30pm with refreshments served from 6.15. Each week we start with sung worship followed by a Bible study or talk on some aspect of God's work and conclude with a time of prayer and a closing song.
