Gunwharf sits right where the Solent meets the harbour, making it a proper naval headquarters for things to do. You can step aboard HMS Victory or wander through the Exhibition Room at the Tower without needing a single ticket. It is all very orderly and full of history. There are plenty of family-friendly displays at the National Museum of the Royal Navy while you wait for the tide to turn. If you fancy a change of scene, catch a ferry from Portsmouth Harbour Station on Platform 5. We have pulled it all together so you do not waste time hunting for the next port of call.
