What is Foundations? Foundations is a short course that runs throughout the year to help you to learn the fundamentals of the Christian faith in a group environment. This is important so you can discuss the key doctrines you are learning and ask questions. Who is it for? Foundations is for anyone who is wanting to gain an understanding of the key beliefs and practices of Christianity. We recommend this course if you have recently accepted Jesus into your life, you are new to church or you just want to solidify your understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. What does it cover? Week 1 – Who Am I' and 'Who is God (x6 videos. 40mins in total). We have a variety of different groups for children aged 0-14 at our 9:30am service on a Sunday morning. 0-18 months crechè: we have an unsupervised crechè for children aged 0-1 and their parents/carers where you can see and hear the service 18 months - 4 years: we have two groups for children aged 18 months - 4 years available, these are 18 months - 2s and 3-4s, in these groups we have a time of free play, sung worship, learning Bible stories and we have fun making crafts! Reception- Year 1: in this group we play games, have a time of sung worship, Bible teaching and discussion and we have fun making crafts! Key stage 1 and 2: for children in Year 2 to Year 5, in this group we play games, have a time of sung worship, Bible teaching and discussion and we have fun making crafts! Youth: Sunday mornings are a great place to find community, pray and read the Bible together. This group is for youth in school years 6 - 9. If your child is aged 18 months or above please sign up to their group each week as a way of early registration, this way you can guarantee they will have a registration sticker and a spot in the group on arrival. Early registration is available up until 7.00am on the morning. Please arrive at church from 9:15am to collect your early registration sticker or if you are new you can register on the morning.
