What's on in Plashet

Greater London, England

Plashet sits quietly on the edge of Greater London, a place where you can find culture without needing to drive across the capital. The Malayalee Association of the UK has been hosting community gatherings that bring families together for years now. It is quite remarkable how much warmth you can find in such a small corner of the world. Even when the rain starts tapping against your window, there are still places to go and people to meet locally. We keep an eye on what is coming up so you do not have to hunt through a dozen different websites on a Sunday evening. Just pop in for a chat or a meal when you feel like stepping out of the house.

Sunday Creative Writing Course: Five Weeks of Spring

Join writer and teacher, Anna Dempsey, for this five-week course of guided fiction writing, sharing words in a tender, supportive community. This course is perfect for writers of any stage who want to explore their voice, try new ideas, finish a writing project or connect with fellow creatives in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Each week, you will focus on different elements of short story and novel writing including plot, dialogue, character, setting and pacing.
