Lama Chopa (also known as Guru Puja) is a practice of guru devotion special to the Gelugpa tradition. During this practice, the lamas of the graduated path lineage beginning with Shakyamuni Buddha himself, are invoked, extending to present direct teachers who have shown the path. If you wish to experience realizations quickly, the practice of Lama Chopa is indispensable.
