Volume One Tongue returns to Clearwell Caves to share their new show : The Hare Who Wrote The stars. The culmination of three years writing across folk, trip and rock traditions, they bring a live band, puppets and Butoh dance, 100ft deep inside one of the UK's oldest mining networks. This is a handmade show. Expect avant-garde performance of live music, puppets and Butoh. Even though this is a summer performance, it will be cold underground (10 degrees), so make sure to wear warm clothing and flat soled footwear with a good grip.
9Skills Improvement courses with Mary Stephens Join guest teacher Mary for a day of tackling your throwing woes with a small class size of up to five participants. These courses are designed to allow you time to play and improve on the wheel, with guaranteed quality time with the teacher in a small group setting. Expect: 10-1pm throwing surgery 1-145pm lunch break (bring your own or purchase refreshments from our on site cafe) 145-4pm building muscle memory by throwing to a consistent size and form DATE AND TIME: Sunday July 18th 10-4pm Maximum participants: 5 Minimum participant required to run: 3 Suitable for those with throwing experience, participants must be able to centre and throw a cylinder and bowl.
