Newleaze sits quietly in Gloucestershire with a charm that feels like a well-worn favourite armchair. The village has its own rhythm, and while there aren't many large venues to shout about, the local community halls and pubs keep things ticking along just fine for a quiet Tuesday or a sunny Saturday. It is a place where the pace is set by the river rather than a frantic calendar, yet the locals still manage to find reasons to gather together. You can usually find a gathering in one of the village buildings without needing to check a dozen websites first. It's not about big spectacles, but it is a proper neighbourhood spot for keeping in touch with what is going on nearby.

Primary Group is our Sunday School for those between the ages of 3 and 6. Under the leadership of Margaret, the children have fun learning about God. We sing, draw, make things, play games and have fun. We also take part in special events with the whole church and participate in occasional parties and trips.

Stokes Croft China Mug Decorating Workshop

Tickets Spend a relaxing afternoon creating a uniquely decorated piece of fine bone china! Collage together many images and as much text as you like from our unrivalled collection of historic and new water-slide ceramic transfers – there’s plenty of weird & wonderful things to choose from, whether you’re into vintage roses or anarchist slogans. Our experienced workshop crew will guide you through applying the transfers to create your own uniquely designed mug*. Tickets include a fine bone china mug, transfers, firing and tuition. *If you want to make something else, choose from a selection of other fine bone china ware (available for an additional charge on the day). SESSION TIMES: 1.00 – 3.00pm or 3.15 – 5.15pm COLLECTING YOUR FINISHED PIECE: the decorated china ware needs to be fired then cooled, so you’ll be able to collect them from our shop one week after the workshop. FAMILY FRIENDLY: children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Suitable for ages 8+. CAN’T MAKE IT? With at least 3 days notice you can rebook or request a refund via Yuup.
