Community Cafe

Running alongside our food bank session every Friday morning, our Community Cafe offers a welcoming space for all - whether you're picking up a food bank parcel, or just fancy a cuppa and some good company. We've got plenty of hot drinks and pastries, toys for the kids, and friendly conversation. All of our refreshments are completely free, however you are welcome to give a donation if you wish and are able to do so. But there's no pressure! We've also got a lovely team on hand, along with helpful professionals, offering advice and signposting if you need it. Drop in anytime between 10am and 12pm. We'd love to see you there!

Community Corner: Southmead Knit & Natter

Every Friday meet up with the lovely Knit & Knatter group from 10.30am – 12.30pm. This group is a truly welcoming bunch and if you don’t know how to knit then Lead Knitter Sandra with show you the ropes (or the wools!). You don’t have to bring anything apart from yourself, there’s plenty of yarn to go round! Everyone is welcome and the group meet in Community Corner in the cafe at the Greenway Centre. "Introducing Stencil Art" Spray Sessions - Bristol

Come and have some fun using spray cans and spray some art! Our spray sessions provide a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of our custom facilities enabling you to spray your own artwork, using our laser cut stencils and water-based spray paints. “Criminally fun!!” The Independent newspaper. The ‘Introducing Stencil Art’ spray sessions have been developed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, artistic background or previous experience. If you’ve never shaken a spray can before, then this is for you! After some guidance and practice, followed by an introduction to the history of stencil art, everyone participating will spray their own massive artwork to take home. We use a new technology in street art, which is water-based spray paint, in a well ventilated room, and we provide dust masks for everyone who wishes to wear them. Our sessions are the original street art taster sessions in Bristol, and have been developed as a format for over 10 years, starting on the streets and now progressing into our custom facilitated room. Our format harmoniously provides a creative and friendly atmosphere which caters for everyone. We provide all of the materials, enabling you to concentrate on developing your can control, as you spray your new artworks.
