From April 2026, HMRC is introducing Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax, bringing significant changes to how sole traders and landlords record and report their income. Brentwood Rotary Club Annual Charity Golf Day Monday 11th May Rotary Golf Day Flyer 2026 – A4 version The Rotary Club of Brentwood are pleased to invite you to join them on their Sponsored Annual Charity Golf Day on Monday 11th May, 2026 with the opportunity to entertain your friends, family, and clients at Thorndon Park Golf Club. Thorndon Park Golf Club is an excellent parkland golf course designed by the legendary golf architect, Harry Colt, and is rated as No 1 in Essex. The entry fee for a 4-Ball team is £420 which includes green fees, a coffee and bacon sandwich on arrival, halfway house juices, and a rolling buffet lunch on completion of play. Netwalking

Netwalking is back! If you’ve not tried it before, Netwalking is a totally different concept from regular networking, combining the relaxed informality of a walk in the countryside with a chance to share the experience with some different people. Walking tends to encourage conversation, and there is a natural tendency to chat and mingle with fellow walkers. The walk will commence from the Greyhound pub car park. We will walk at a leisurely pace, for approximately an hour and a half, followed by an opportunity to enjoy a drink. If you can’t join us for the walk, but would like to come along for a drink later, you would be very welcome. We are dedicating this walk to the memory of Julian Goode who used to run the Netwalking and then started his own ‘Goode Walks’. Netwalking is usually a free event but on this occasion we are asking for a voluntary donation of £5 to donate to Julian’s two charities, The Anothony Nolan Trust and Barts. Non-members are welcome to join us and discover one of the many benefits of being a member of Brentwood Chamber of Commerce. Feel free to bring a guest with you. Dogs are also welcome and the walk will go ahead whatever the weather!
