Lower Willingdon sits quietly in East Sussex with just one proper venue to call your own. The Willingdon Library keeps things ticking over with stories for children and a quiet corner for grown-ups to read. It is a small enough place where the neighbours know each other by name, which is quite nice if you ask me. There are not many options in this village, but what we have works well for a change of pace. We do not need to travel far to find a book or join a discussion group without driving all the way to Hove. Christian Life Group

Christian Life Group is a women's Bible Study group which meets almost every Tuesday from 1.30 pm for an hour, with the aim of deepening our spiritual lives in a supportive environment. Once a month it takes place at Favoloso Cafe instead, at the later time of 2.15pm. There are usually around 12-16 women each week, and there is always a warm welcome for any woman who would like to join us on a regular or occasional basis.
