What's on in Chilley Green

East Sussex, England

Chilley Green is a quiet corner of East Sussex where the air smells of damp earth and there's usually a fair bit of green around. It doesn't need to be loud to have plenty going on, with local groups organising meetups that keep neighbours friendly without needing a megaphone. The village hall often hosts something simple like a family gathering or a community dinner when the weather turns nasty. There are regular markets popping up near the church and farmers selling produce from their own fields down the lane. Even if you're just walking to the shop, you'll spot someone setting up for a local event before lunchtime. Near Here keeps track of what's happening so you don't have to ask round the village on your morning coffee run.
