Airmyn in the East Riding of Yorkshire is a quiet corner where the local hall does most of the heavy lifting for community spirit. The Airmyn Memorial Hall has been hosting everything from village fete stalls to amateur drama productions without missing a beat. It is the kind of place that feels like it has known your family name for longer than you have. Here is a little bit from Sophie about Feathersteps: We are a friendly dance school run by Sophie E. Brooke, an IDTA Qualified Professional with 26 years dance experience, which includes National Competitions, IDTA Medal Exams and Dance Event Organisation. Learning to dance is incredibly rewarding in many different ways. It is an excellent activity which helps all ages to stay fit physically, mentally and socially, and is a wonderful skill that gets people talking! We specialise in Ballroom, Latin and Salsa in group classes, but do offer lots of other dance style tuition, plus the all important Wedding “First Dance”. Our dance school also boasts excellent opportunities for live music events and themed dance evenings! From absolute beginners to experienced and seasoned dancers, we have something to suit everyone, offering various levels of classes at different venues around the Selby and Goole districts.
