Tursdale sits quietly in Durham where the air is usually still enough to hear a pin drop or the distant rumble of traffic from the main road. With no big venues on our doorstep, we make do with what comes through the town and keep things lively without needing a stadium. It is a place where a quiet Tuesday afternoon can turn into a proper night out if you know where to look. The local community pulls together for markets and fairs that bring neighbours out of their houses and onto the street. Even when there isn't a specific show on, someone will be hosting a gathering or a game in the park. We are happy with our little corner of the world and do not need to travel far to find something worth your time.
