Throop is a quiet corner of Dorset where the pace slows down just enough to notice the rain stopping or start again. Without any big venues on our list yet, we rely on the village hall and local pubs to host whatever gatherings happen this week. It feels like a proper community hub even when the only thing listed is a casual get-together near the church.
