Rowlands sits quietly in Dorset with very little to recommend it other than the peace and quiet. You can find a community hall hosting local gatherings or perhaps a park where families let the dogs run wild. It is a proper place to be without needing to shout about how busy it is. Even on a rainy Tuesday, there are usually plans to make. We like to think that if you walk around long enough, you will stumble upon a market stall or a quiz night somewhere near the edge of town. There is no need for a guide when the whole village knows exactly where the fun is happening this weekend.
