What's on in St. Leonard's

Devon, England

St. Leonard's in Devon is a quiet corner of the county that somehow manages to keep its feet off the ground with plenty of local colour. We don't need a stadium packed to find something worth doing, as community halls and village greens often hold the real stories. It is easy to miss the fun if you are just driving past, but stepping into town reveals a proper sense of place. With no big venues listed in our facts yet, we rely on the usual suspects like local markets or garden shows that pop up around the seasons. There is rarely a dull moment when neighbours gather for a cup of tea and a chat about what's next. Near Here keeps track of these little gatherings so you can plan your Saturday without checking a dozen websites.
