The Bishopsteignton Village Show 1995-2020
at Bishopsteignton Community Centre and Museum
The Village Show is open to the public to look around from 2pm until 5pm on the Saturday and 11am to 4pm on the Sunday. There are cream teas served both days and Ploughman’s Lunches on the Sunday. There are also a number of stalls featuring local produce, crafts and greetings cards. Show Chairman Roy Halsey said “We’re really looking forward to seeing the range of exhibits we get this year. The Show has a lovely, traditional feel and we are lucky enough to receive support from various local businesses which helps us pay to put the show on, as well as provide a fantastic Grand Raffle to raise money.” A list of all those who have supported the 2012 Show can be found on the show’s website which also has an archive of previous year’s results and photo galleries.

Across The Universe is a celebration of The Beatles' "studio years" 1966-1970. This unique show featuring live band and orchestra is a must-see for all Beatles fans. The music recorded by the Beatles from 1966-1970 represents some of the most ground-breaking strides in popular music history, in terms of songwriting ingenuity, recording techniques and the establishing of different musical genres within pop music. Many of these innovative recordings were never intended to be recreated live. Now in homage to this sensationally creative period in The Beatles' career, Across the Universe brings these recordings to life with stunning detail and accuracy. No wigs, no costumes. Coffee Mornings
at Plymouth Proprietary Library
Second Saturday of the month: 10.30am - 12.30pm. C offee mornings are held monthly and are open to all. It costs £4 each. So why not join us for good coffee, good cakes (homemade) and good company - you will be made very welcome. Our next coffee morning takes place on Saturday 11th July when there will be a stall selling books, jigsaws and craft items.
Meet & Make
Meet & Make Every second Saturday from 4pm to 5pm we invite all children, along with their parents, to come and enjoy some creative crafts and conversation. It’s a free event run by the Children’s Liturgy staff and alongside the crafting there are refreshments available. Come along and join us for crafts and conversation.
