What's on in Lipson

Devon, England

Lipson sits quietly in Devon with no venues to shout about, but that doesn't mean there's nothing on offer. The village hall usually hosts a community drama group, while local groups often meet for tea or a quiz in someone's garden. It is a place where the neighbours know each other and you can find out what's happening without scrolling through a dozen screens. There are always folk events nearby if you fancy a walk into the wider countryside. You might catch a band playing at a festival down the road or join a walking club that meets on a Saturday morning. Near Here keeps track of those little gatherings so you don't have to ask round the post office.
