What's on in Newton Green

Newton Green sits quietly in Derbyshire, far from the noise of the city but close enough to hear a gig or two if you listen hard enough. With no big venues on our doorstep, we tend to look just over the hill for the best local acts and family days out. It is a small world, but ours is a friendly one where neighbours know what is on in the next county. We keep our calendar filled with theatre trips, art exhibitions, and market stalls that pop up whenever the weather permits. Even if the nearest stage is a short drive away, we make sure there is plenty to see without leaving the region. Come along for a pint after a play or a stroll past the local shops; it is all about good company and decent entertainment nearby.
