With no venues listed on our books just yet, we'll be keeping an eye out for local gatherings and telling them straight when they're ready to share. It's a quiet sort of place that doesn't need much fussing over to feel special. We're here to make sure you know what's going on in your own patch without hunting through a dozen different sites. To celebrate British Science Week we will be holding a free science day for children at Erasmus Darwin House with a selection of “real” science activities available to try. The activities will be suitable for children aged between 7-11 years. Construct a double helix with sweets & try making DNA; try building a wind turbine; what’s the best design for a paper aeroplane?; become a detective and found out who wrote the note using science; build a Hovercraft; can you solve the nail trick? Due to the popularity of this event and to avoid disappointment we would recommend that parents/guardians book a slot for each child. Children must be accompanied by an adult (although we would ask that there are no more than 2 adults per child please to allow us to accommodate as many children as possible). book a place here

Messy Church

Messy Church is a fun, interactive event for families. It starts in the Lounge with a variety of crafts, activities and games. These are followed by a short, relaxed, child-friendly service. We then finish with a two-course family meal. Advance booking is preferred. Booking closes on the Wednesday before the Sunday.
