The Slack sits quietly in Cumbria with the hills watching over us while we keep an eye on what's going on nearby. There aren't any big venues listed yet, but that just means the local pubs and community halls are doing all the heavy lifting for now. We'll be adding more places as soon as they send us a word. Think of this page as your personal postbox for news from the area. When a local group decides to host a night or someone wants to show off their baking skills, we'll make sure you know about it before anyone else does.
