The Nook sits snugly in Cumbria where the fells are high enough to make you feel like a proper local legend. There aren't any big venues listed yet, but that just means the town relies on its own community spirit to keep things ticking over. Neighbours pull together for garden parties and village fairs without needing a hall booking form. We'll be finding out what's coming up soon so you don't have to wander around asking everyone who knows someone else. Until then, enjoy the view from your favourite bench and let us know if there's anything we've missed. It's all about keeping the local scene warm and friendly while we wait for the next event to land on our radar.
